At the beginning of the eighties he signed the first bottles of his production, personally selecting the grapes coming from six hectares of vineyards of the "Cascina Nuova", a farm located in the heart of the historic Gallina hill, once part of the great viticultural heritage of the lords of Neive Conti Riccardi Candiani, now owned by Marcarino.

The precious experiences acquired over time, the research and experimentation in the vineyard and in the cellar, have contributed to making this producer the protagonist of that qualitative revolution which, in recent years, has led to the emergence of an elite wine culture.

The belief that a great wine is born over time and that waiting, managed without anxiety, gives it class, importance and longevity, leads Ugo to place his bottles on the market only after a long and proper rest.
