Our family-owned winery was founded by my grandfather "Gundin", who worked as a sharecropper in vineyards owned by Prof. Giovanni Dalmasso, master of viticulture and oenology. Thanks to this experience, my grandfather learned cultivation techniques and bought his first vineyard, the Pasau.

Starting from this vineyard (only one hectare), we have grown gradually: our cellar currently consists of twelve hectares of vineyards on which we cultivate well-known grape varieties such as Barbera, Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Grignolino, Arneis and Chardonnay.

Today the grandson of Nonno Gundin, Maurizo Ponchione, together with his father Bruno and his son Andrea manages the winery on the hills of Roero. It is here where they continue the business of their ancestors in the most soil and environmentally friendly way to maintain high quality and healthy viticulture for generations to come!
