Livia inherits the passion for viticulture from her father Ettore and in turn manages to convey with love and enthusiasm the goal of those who preceded her among these rows before her. The winery has existed for two hundred years and is currently linked in the eighth generation.

The winery is now run by Livia Fontana with her children Michele and Lorenzo where each with their own roles brings energy, enthusiasm, competence and passion. The result is excellent wines, appreciated all over the world for how tradition and new technologies come together in high quality products.

The Livia Fontana winery consists of the central nucleus in Castiglione Falletto and ten hectares of vineyards arranged above all close to the winery and in the municipalities of Bussia in Monforte d'Alba, where Nebbiolo da Barolo and Barbera are produced and, in the nearby territory of Roero, from which the white arneis is obtained. The Fontana vineyards allow the production of crus such as Villero and Bussia. The vineyards alternate young and long-lived vines.
