List of products by brand Domaine David Duband

David Duband's cellar shines in the heart of the Côte de Nuits. A Domaine that is considered among the most representative of Burgundy, thanks above all to the history that binds the Duband family to these lands. It all began in 1965 when his father Pierre was at the helm of the estate, who gave the grapes from his 15 hectares of vineyards to the Beaune cooperatives. The story changes when in '91 David, his son, decides to start his own production, first renting a hectare and a half, and then inheriting his father's estate in '95. Just a few years later David met François Feuillet, a passionate Parisian from Burgundy, who decides to buy half of the estate of the Domaine. The year 2006 was also important when the estate expanded and purchased 7 hectares from the Domaine Truchot including Grand Cru such as Clos de la Roche, Charmes-Chambertin, Chambolle-Musigny Les Santiers and other 1er cru such as Morey-St Denis, Clos Sorbé , Les Sentiers and Les Combottes. That's not all because in 2009 two other prestigious Grand Crus are added: Chambertin and Latricières-Chambertin.

So the Domaine David Duband gives half of the grapes to François Feuillet who markets his wines with his own label. Thus its production is around 85,000 bottles, three quarters of which are produced from Pinot Noir grapes. The modern winery is located in Chevannes and has 23 appellations including Grand Cru, Premier Cru and Village which reflect the production areas and the character of David.

Until 2008 Duband David wines were defined as an example of "modern", because they were dense, intense and linked above all to the aging in wood which aimed to smooth out the edges and dominate the essence of the fruit. The change of course occurs when the vigneron decides to follow biological principles, adopting a more accurate and sensitive method. Today he produces more calibrated, authentic and expressive bottles, in the name of purity and originality. Reds with a mainly mineral system that speak of terroir and that trace all the nuances of the individual parcels.
